- Almost 100% low floor bus fleet following £4.5million investment of new buses in 2005.
- Bus priority measures (through the 'twin track' initiative) which includes bus lanes.
- Active automatic vehicle location (AVL) for bus flow management and real time passenger information.
- Working towards SMS text message bus times with Aberdeen City Council and Traveline.
- Bus Route Development Grant awarded to improve frequency on service 5.
- Renewed Quality Partnership in 2005, linking Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils, Stagecoach and First for excellence in customer information and service provision.
- Dedicated RGU Unilink service linking new and old campus sites to halls of residence and student accommodation areas.
- Dedicated Park & Ride sites with capacity for over 1000 cars.
- A 50% reduction in bus related vandalism calls to Grampian Police through the schools anti vandalism programme.
- Ground breaking schools project Traffic First! a First in Aberdeen concept, with cross curricular teaching material for 5-14 year olds written by teachers for teachers and sent to every school in Aberdeen city initially, now to more in Scotland.
