Welcome to the First Chester & Wirral website. On these pages we aim to provide you with details of our local services and fares along with other information we hope you will find useful.

First covers North West Cheshire and Wirral, serving places like Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead and Liverpool, and the lovely walled town of Chester, where we have recently expanded our network of bus services following the acquisition of Chester City Transport.

This expansion has allowed us to introduce modern, low floor buggy accessible buses to Blacon and Saughall, and at very frequent intervals – as often as every 5 minutes from some bus stops. Bargain low fares have also been introduced in the Blacon area.

We believe our bus service provides much more than just transport to work and school, and feel it plays an important role in leisure activities. Using value for money tickets there are many interesting places to visit. For example shopping at Cheshire Oaks, now boasting 140 brand name stores in one location, Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium are just a few of the attractions to hand.

With First Chester & Wirral you can forget the worry of parking and remember, the last bus home provides a real alternative to end a night out safely and cost effectively.
